Kiran Dutta roasted Ankush Hazra after watching a video interview of Ankush, where Ankush asked the interviewee to tell the plot of the Hollywood film series Avengers in one line and then he compared it to some Bengali and Hindi films of actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Dev, Jeet, and Prosenjit Chatterjee. He claimed the story of popular superhero films created in recent times is similar to the films which were already made in Bollywood and Tollywood. The video went viral. He also claimed that he got an offer to play Amir Khan’s friend’s role in Lal Singh Chaddha (2022), but refused to do the film because he didn’t want to act in a film that was a frame-to-frame remake of the Hollywood movie Forrest Gump (1994). One fan of Ankush shared the roasting video with Ankush and Ankush reacted to Kiran’s video on Twitter, slamming Kiran. This led to a Twitter war where fans also got involved.
