Nusrat Jahan made her debut in the Bengali film industry with the film Shotru (2011). She played the character of “Puja” and shared the screen with actor Jeet in the film.

Nusrat Jahan accused of helping the accused rapist Kader Khan
Nusrat Jahan was in a relationship with Kader Khan for four years before he got accused in the Park Street gang rape case in Kolkata on 5 February 2012. Nusrat Jahan was accused of protecting Kader Khan as the police got information that Kader Khan flew to Mumbai after the case happened and Nusrat Jahan also went to Mumbai to meet him at a hotel. The police also got proof regarding Nusrat and Kader’s stay at a Mumbai Hotel after the incident. When Nusrat was interrogated, she defended her innocence and mentioned that if Kader was found guilty, he should be punished by the law. The police wanted Nusrat to be prosecuted as they found evidence of Nusrat staying with Kader Khan at a hotel after the incident happened. Making unethical comments during her political speech
Nusrat Jahan, in May 2023, during her speech to the public, stated that anyone from the BJP or Congress asking for votes during the Panchayat elections in Basirhat would be “beaten with a bamboo.” Her statement was heavily criticized and political ethics was questioned by the people. Alleged involvement in a financial scam
Nusrat Jahan’s name was involved in a financial scam in 2023. Nusrat was the director of the company 7 Sense Infrastructure, a real estate company that was accused of taking Rs. 5.5 lakh from each person for building flats. However, the company did not deliver the flats. According to sources, Nusrat denied all the allegations against her as she resigned from the company in 2017.
