Film
Koel Mallick got her first opportunity to act on the big screen with the film Nater Guru (2003). She played the character of Monisha a 23-year-old girl, in the film opposite to actor Jeet. The film was a box office hit and the pairing of Jeet and Koel was loved by the Bengali audience.
Both of them have appeared in twelve films together. She was cast in four films in the year 2004, titled Debipaksha, Shudhu Tumi, Badsha The King, and Bandhan. Bandhan was again a blockbuster film and became the highest-grossing film of 2004. She acted in an Odia film (2005) titled Premi No. 1. Some of the successful films that gained positive reviews and were box office hits were Shubhodrishti (2005), M.L.A Fatakeshto (2006), Premer Kahini (2008), Mon Mane Na (2008), Paglu (2011), and 100% Love (2012).
